HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY from the Staff at The Innsbruck Aspen

ARE YOU READY TO GET ON THE RIVER...WELL, RAFTING SEASON HAS BEGUN!!

The local rafting companies are already on the water...and they having a great time!  Give us a call and we will help you book a guided raft trip, or duckies or SUPs with the most experienced guides in the area.  Right now trips are being run on the Middle Roaring Fork, Upper Roaring Fork....and the infamous Slaughterhouse!  Slaughterhouse is running above 500 cfs!  We've had so much snow this season, and with temperatures rising each day you can bet the flows will start moving up each day as well.

INDEPENDENCE PASS INFO:  The pass is now in the process of being cleared by the road crews, they expect to have it open by May 22nd...but before you head that way check with the U.S. Forest Service to find out if it is, in fact open...you could end up having to back track adding lots of extra unnecessary hours to your trip to Aspen/Snowmass.

MAROON BELLS INFO: The road to Maroon Bells, for limited hours vehicle traffic should open mid-June, and we'll do our best to keep you updated on both our Facebook and Blog sites.

But hey....you should start planning to head up to Aspen/Snowmass because biking, hiking, jeep tours, limited snowmobile tours, fly fishing, and much more is beginning this week.   Give us a call and let us help you plan for what is proving already to be an awesome Spring/Summer 2014!

We've had lots of inquiries about the new HOPS CULTURE restaurant and pub opening shortly in Aspen...craft beer, wine and AMAZING food...so keep checking their Facebook page for the date, and we'll keep you posted as well.

Oh my, everyone in town is looking forward to this exciting new addition to Aspen.

Love this picture of the taps during their construction, so decided to post it...but don't be fooled they are way past this...they should be open in the next week or two...exciting!  If you checkout their Facebook page you can see a list of all the craft beers and a copy of the menu...beyond delicious.

2014 FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen
June 20-22, 2014

FOOD & WINE Magazine presents its 32nd Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. This is an annual weekend of cooking demonstrations, food samplings and wine tastings - all in the spectacular setting of Aspen, Colorado. You'll see some of the world's most famous chefs...including many of those we all see and love on the food network channels, Giada deLaurentis, Tyler Florence, Michael Symon, Jeffrey Zakarian...and many, many more!  Aspen is a spectacular backdrop for all the white cooking demo and wine tasting tents that will be placed around town!

The FOOD & WINE Classic never fails to draw the most talented chefs and wine experts from all over the country, but this year we’re exceptionally thrilled to have such an accomplished group coming to Aspen. From French cooking legends to Master Sommeliers to up-and-coming tastemakers and trendsetters, the Classic talent can teach attendees everything about food, wine and everything in between. Aside from seminars and Grand Tastings, there were plenty of activities happening all weekend to keep even the most energetic guests busy. On Friday morning chefs, locals and Classic attendees set out on a 5K run through the streets of Aspen to benefit a local charity.
